The Online Strategy 

(a top-up for those who conquered the Winning hearts and minds programme)

  • Just as our experience in psychology and theatre allowed us to create the original WINNING HEARTS AND MINDS programme, we now combine our knowledge of film and television with psychology to create the remote online version.

    This course will give participants the same confidence in presenting online as they have when presenting face to face. They will learn that the secret of success online lies in focus, brevity, and impact.

  • They will be able to create focus by learning:

    •How to handle the technical aspects of Zoom, Teams, Webex, etc., so that they do not distract.

    •How to use broadcast techniques from the BBC to CNN to keep people listening.

    •How to use the Najberg Milne Presentation Design Blueprint in a more sophisticated way to keep audiences engaged.

    Understanding the difference between written and spoken language.

    •How to exploit this difference by using oratorical techniques from great speakers like Cicero, Churchill, and Obama to create maximum impact.

     

    Brevity in presentations is achieved by:

    •Understanding and mastering the time-honoured art of editing, as used in the television and film industries.

  • • How to use their voice effectively in an online format.

    • How to compensate for the lack of eye contact by using technology properly.

    • How to use PowerPoint and PDF slides professionally.
