(once you’ve done Winning Hearts and Minds part 1)

  • This course will give participants the same confidence in presenting online that they have when presenting face to face. They will learn that the secret of success online lies in focus, brevity, and impact.

  • They will learn how to create focus by:

    Understanding their audience’s mindset, including their concerns and objectives.

    Understanding how the human brain makes decisions, including economic ones.

    Working backwards from audience needs to create a script using the Najberg Milne “Presentation Design Blueprint”.

     

    By using the script created by this Blueprint, they will be able to:

     

    • Hook an audience’s attention
    • Keep that attention throughout the entire presentation
    • Address audience concerns, objectives, and questions
    • Design and deliver persuasive messages
    • Enhance audience memory through stories and metaphors

     

    Brevity in presentations is achieved by:

    Mastering the art of editing

    Understanding the difference between written and spoken language

    Using oratorical techniques from great speakers like Cicero, Churchill, and Obama

     

    The participants will further learn:

    • How to handle the technical aspects of Zoom, Teams, Webex, etc.

    • How to use broadcast techniques from the BBC to CNN

    • How to use their voice effectively in an online format

    • How to use PowerPoint and PDF slides efficiently

  • By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

    • Understand their audience’s mental processes


    • Get any audience to listen to their every word


    • Change how their audience thinks and feels about their subject, product, or company


    • Persuade their audience to take action, such as agreeing to recommendations or offering a contract
